Anyone else bored with the 4-5 fear mongering posters who are politicizing this thing?

I can't say that it looks like it's helping them (based on comments from the World Health Organization and the recent Gallup poll). It appears people are even less enamored with those that wish ill will on others for political purposes (I can't imagine why). They just come across as the same little whiny bitches that have been moaning for the last 4 years.

For those that are truly freaked out by this thing and reading (or listening) to every bit of fear mongering information they can find, I would say to just kiss your ass goodbye. Disregard that the chance of catching this thing and dying from it are just slightly better than you winning your state lottery. After all, if it's airborne and stays on surfaces for days, if you even open your door, the big mean virus is going to get you (you can't disinfect everything). So that's it! It's over. Been nice knowing you. Sayonarra. Via Con Dios Goodbye. Wish you well. Easy Come, easy go.

Democrats (Including the ones here on this board) - Think this is the end of the world.

Republicans (Including most of us here) - Think the virus is real but way overblown and want to get back to work.

It is what it is.

you seem to confuse those of us who are merely reporting WHO facts (number of infections, rate of infections etc) with other, unspecified people who "wish ill will on others". Personally I hope this fucking thing goes away as soon as possible but when idiots on here start posting shit like " its just like the flu " or " there are more car accidents than infections " and bullshit like that it does more harm than good.

Nah, don't think I'm confusing people like you at all. Anyone can look up all this information very easily on the WHO site or the CDC site. Posting multiple posts per day like that is simply attempting to fear monger and it's the same cast of characters everyday (so it's clearly politicizing it). It appears apparent to me that people like yourself want this thing to extend as long as possible and do as much damage as possible purely for political reasons (which is pretty sick if you ask me). But knock yourself out. I'm just making what I believe is a valid observation.

Or even FACTS like restaurants should be taking peoples temperatures, when in fact restaurants are closed? Body is 100% accurate

A new virus that's 45X deadlier than the flu, infects 2X-3X more people and has no known vaccines.

Sounds like nothing. False alarm folks, go out and enjoy your lives!

Got it. Heard you the first time you said it. The other 20x it didn't matter because you were repeating the same thing over and over, just like the rest of the cast of characters. Rational and mature people can agree to disagree on things and not repeat the same thing over and over (and put up material that can easily be found on a couple of different sites). Why not just refer people over to those and be done with it?

It is what it is.

So why are so many Americans being denied the right to work when it is a Republican in charge?

There is a the possibility of third group of people who are going to take personal responsibility for themselves and not blame the other side no matter how severe or how overblown it is. Anyone arguing about this stuff on the internet almost certainly does not fall in that category.

I didn't know viruses had political leanings. Hey Corona buddy, could you infect and kill less people so it doesn't hurt Orange leader's re-election bid?

Nice deflection. Feel free to answer the question (which it seems clear you can't).

Right you came into a thread that was a whopping 10 posts long at the time (that would have taken less than a minute to read) and you didn't even know. Please just stop.

Nope, the only editing I did was spelling and you're limited to less than 5 minutes on that. Not to mention that the first post of the thread summed it up nicely. Not to mention that your first post was at 9:31 so I couldn't have edited the one before that time. Again, please just stop.

So you're gonna sit there and lie that you didn't only post the first 2 sentences before you edited?

For everyone else who aren't this same cast of characters. I've used their information and came to the conclusion that no matter what I did, I was going to die from this virus so I am still training my clients (observing the close proximity rule). I mean what difference does it make? The cast of characters have told me that the virus is airborne so no matter where I go, it's there and can get in my eyes at the very least. They've also told me I can't touch anything because the virus can stay on things for days. So common sense would dictate, based on their comments that there's no way to possibly escape it so I guess that's that.

Some think the sky is falling, some think this is no different from the flu.
Most sane people fall in between; this is serious but being a little overblown and the cure is becoming worse than the problem.

The unfortunate problem you're referring to is that the people in camp A get offended by people in any other camp, so use any bad news as a chance to beat their chest and say I told you so, which comes off as them rooting for catastrophe. They are more interested in "being right" than anything else. It's sick. Even if you THINK you're being proven right in this situation (many intentionally misconstrue the #s and what they mean, but I digress), you'd think this might be a time to show restraint and be humble in your perceived "victory".
